I've been laying C down for "quiet time" even when she doesn't nap, and she'll play in her bed about an hour or, which is nice. Do you have any other advice about handling the end of naptime?
Big Sister (previously referred to as C) is 7 years old, and Little Sister is 4 years old. Oh how the time flies!

I think I would just do the same. Give them a toy they enjoy and put them in the bed for a bit. I need that time too! Although... I'm usually doing work of some kind then...
We have quiet time just like you. Seems like twice a week or so, they (4 and 2) will nap during the time.
I have quiet time bags for them. I plan to have 5 bags total when I get enough stuff collected, and they will have a different bag each day. I will swap activities every couple of months or so. I set the timer for an hour, and they can get up or keep playing or sleeping when the timer goes off.
Hadley > the quiet time bags are a great idea! So is setting a timer. I may try that is I have trouble getting C to stay in her room for an hour!
