Tonight we celebrated the beginning of the baseball season! I'll admit, I'd forgotten it was the Blue Jays' opening day until Hubby mentioned it on the phone, so we did some quick decorating (thank goodness baseballs are easy to draw)! I drew some circles on white paper, added red "laces" with a marker and cut them out. Add masking tape, and presto - baseballs on the TV cabinet! C did a "B is for Baseball" cereal box craft:
After C got ready for bed, we all played with our baseball gear, coloured some baseball pictures, sang baseball songs, and finally, watched the first few pitches of the game. C was thrilled to show her hat to "the man" singing the national anthems on TV!
Before bedtime, we read some baseball books: Max by Rachel Isadora and Players in Pigtails by Shana Corey. Opening Day is usually a Daddy-daughter tradition, and this year I got to join in and have lots of fun!

What a little cutie you have. I'm also lovin' the name of your blog.
That looks like fun! My family has never been big on sports of any kind... maybe that'll have to change...
